Why one character has many storylines
Storylines are parallel scenes for the same character — different settings, first messages, and tones without resetting identity.
On Plotty, the character page is a shelf. Each storyline is a ticket into a different room: café meet-cute, storm-bound rivals, slow-burn mystery.
Conversations are keyed by user + character + storyline, so switching stories starts a new scene without erasing the character’s identity.
Creators should write a short visible summary (who, where, stakes) at the top of each storyline — that text powers search and generative engine citations.
